Centro Culturale Conero in collaboration with  Marco's Way (winery tours & gourmet food) offers you the possibility to learn or improve your Italian language skills along with the discovery and of course the tasting of the most characteristic (wine, extra virgin olive oil etc...) local products of the Marche Region.

Starting dates 2010: January 18, February 1, 15, March 1, 15, 29, April 12, 26, May 10, 24,  June 7, 21, July 5, 19, August  2, 16, 30, September 13, 27, October 11, 25, November 8, 22, December 6.

This combined course includes 1 week (20 lessons) of Italian language tuition at Centro Culturale Conero. Lessons will be held in the morning by qualified native teachers, from 9 to 12.30 in small groups, selected according to a placement test to determine the level of knowledge of Italian of each single participant. Teaching materials, certificate of attendance, use of Wi-Fi internet during school hours are included.

The program includes also:

 Monday: from 2 pm to 6 pm

- Guided visit of the Conero Natural Park with its beautiful landscapes, naturalistic and artistic treasures (English/German speaking guide)

Wednesday: from 2 pm to 8 pm

A guided tour of 2 wineries of the region Marche including:

Visit of the vineyards, information on grape varieties, climate and soil.

Visit of the wine cellar (cantina) with information on wine-making process and techniques.

Rich tasting of different wines accompanied by typical food products of the region Marche and explanation of how to taste the wine and wine/food matching.

Friday: from 5 to 10 pm

- Hands-on cookery course. Preparation of a complete italian menu (from "antipasto" to "dolce") and rich dinner with wine tasting of at least 4 different quality wines of the region which match perfectly with the exquisite recipes you have cooked.

If possible we will combine the cooking course with a brief visit to a local olive oil producer/ mill with sampling of different quality extra virgin olive oils.

During visits to wineries or olive oil producers it will be possible to buy quality wines and oil directly from the producers at special prices.
