LEARN ITALIAN IN ITALY WITH OUR COURSES OF ITALIAN

The Centro Culturale Conero offer a wide variety of Italian language courses and a rich selection of extracurricular activities, which generally take place in the afternoons and evenings. We also have specific cultural courses as well as combined “all inclusive” programmes for school or University students (accompanied by their teachers) or “language & culture” packages for groups of adults, with different options for accommodation and a full extracurricular programme.

Whether you are a student learning for an exam, learning italian in a professional capacity for work, or you want to spend a “different” vacation in Italy, here at Centro Culturale Conero you will find the course that suits you. Our experienced teachers will focus on the points that are important for you. You can choose among intensive group courses, mini-group courses, crash, individual or combined courses etc. All language courses run in the morning, giving you ample opportunity to explore Le Marche in the afternoons or attend one of our extracurricular activities.
Complement your Italian language course with a cultural experience! Learn how to cook Italian food like an Italian, enrol on one of our wine tasting courses or expand your knowledge of Italian literature, music or theatre etc. Taking part in these activities is not only fun, but will enrich your knowledge of the Italian way of life and significantly improve your vocabulary.

ITALIAN
LANGUAGE COURSES

Beginners don't need to do the test.

Classes range between 4 and 9 students (average 5/6 even in peak season), which will allow participants to get the most from interacting with each other but small enough so the teacher can monitor improvements and deal with any difficulties. Should the group not meet the minimum number, courses will continue but lesson length will be REDUCE according to the number of students. A course book will be provided at the beginning and this will be enriched by notes and photocopies provided by the teachers.

Our lessons to build confidence in speaking and allow even beginners to communicate in italian. Each grammar point and new word will be inserted into the conversation, so that the students can get acquainted with the sound and rhythm of the language.

Students will be split into at least 6 proficiency levels.
Our school uses the most modern technologies at the service of language teaching. Audio and video files and DVDs are part of our teachers' equipment and are used to make the language learning process as complete and effective as possible.

INTENSIVE
GROUP COURSES

These courses take place week-day mornings and have 4-9 students (average 4-5). There are 20 lessons per week. Students are divided into six different levels according to existing language proficiency. These courses are designed for people that want to study in the morning and have their afternoons free to explore the area. Intensive Italian Courses can be as short as 1 week and continue for as long as required.
Intensive Italian Courses include grammar, conversation practice, activity based learning.

COMBI
COURSES

A combi course is the Intensive Group Course plus one hour of individual tuition every day to enable students to get the most out of conversation and interaction based learning from a group situation as well as focussed lessons with a dedicated teacher to suit the individual’s needs. Individual lessons can be held in the morning before or after the group course or in the afternoon as preferred.

MINI-GROUP
COURSES

These Italian language courses are designed for two individuals of a similar Italian proficiency level who apply together (e.g. a couple, 2 friends or collegues,) wishing to study and learn together. They have 20 lessons per week.
Students are divided into six different levels according to existing language proficiency. Students will have lessons in the morning and have their afternoons free to explore the area. Courses can be as short as 1 week and continue for as long as required. Courses include grammar, conversation practice, activity based learning.
Since it is a semi-private course, it is particularly suitable for those who want to (in pairs) deepen specific themes and topics with the teacher.

ITALIAN
INDIVIDUAL COURSES

Our individual courses offer a "tailor-made" program for those looking for a course tailored to their personal and professional needs. The schedule is flexible. The teacher's attention is focused on the individual student and this type of lesson is particularly suitable for those who have difficulty fitting into a group and communicating in Italian. It is a unique opportunity for students of all levels, but especially for absolute beginners, who can begin the journey of learning the Italian language in the best possible way, followed step by step and supported by their teacher. Individual lessons combine perfectly with the group activities organized by the school and leave the student with plenty of free time to explore the region and fully enjoy its beauties. Courses vary from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 10 hours per day and can (on request) also include lunch with the teacher.

ONE DAY OR WEEK-END CRASH COURSES

These Italian language courses are tailored for individuals or pre-organised small groups, wishing to fast-track their Italian in a very short period of time. Courses run for 4-8 hours a day. This is ideal for students limited in time but wishing to improve their Italian in Italy quickly.
Lunch with the teacher can be included upon request.

INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP
ONLINE ITALIAN COURSES

Besides our traditional classroom lessons, here at Centro Culturale Conero, in the Marche region, we offer online Italian language, live lessons, with professional, friendly and caring native Italian teachers.
The interactive lessons take place with free audio and video conferencing software easily available on the internet, such as Skype or Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Face time etc., widely used by hundreds of millions of people around the world to communicate at a distance. Thanks to this method you can learn Italian well from the comfort of your home, office, travel or any other place where a good Internet connection is available.

These lessons are usually one-to-one or in very small pre-established groups (max. 3 participants) of friends, relatives or work colleagues who decide to attend the lessons together.

WE OFFER TOTAL FLEXIBILITY

Arrange lessons for a time that suits. You can learn Italian directly from the comfort of your home, from your office or virtually from anywhere. We give you the chance to follow our lessons even if you live in remote locations or you’d like to continue to study while travelling. Whenever you prefer, there will always be one of our Italian on-line teachers available. Once you find the right teacher to practise with and learn from, you will realise how quickly you will make progress. Many of our online students often travel for work and connect for lessons with their tablet, laptop or smartphone directly from their hotel room. This really means ""maximizing your time""!!! And with us this is possible.

"HYBRID" ITALIAN COURSES:
IN-PERSON AND/OR ONLINE

In addition to our online Italian courses (one-to-one and in small groups), in 2021 we have introduced an interesting new addition to give the opportunity to those who cannot or do not want to come to Italy, to attend a group language course and to take part in "real" classroom lessons with students in person, but staying at home.
These are our "hybrid Italian courses". These courses are open both to students who are physically present in the classroom, and to those who attend the same lessons from home and take part in the class via the Internet, in real time, interacting with the other participants and the teacher, as if they were present.

The number of participants in these courses is min. 4, max. 9 students (in presence and/or online) to ensure a high quality of teaching and allow teachers to follow with the utmost attention the progress and any difficulties of each student. Lessons will take place also if the class size is less than 4 units, but in this case the class schedule will be REDUCE in relation to the number of students present. To follow these hybrid courses from home you need a good and stable Internet connection and a good computer or tablet with an HD webcam.

PREPARATORY COURSE
FOR CILS AND CELI

This course prepares students for CILS (Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Seconda) and CELI (Certificazione di conoscenza dell’Italiano come lingua straniera) exams, the best known certificates of Italian as a foreign language, offered by the Universities of Siena and Perugia *.
The Ministry of Education, University and Research recognizes CELI 3 a il CILS 2 (B2) as valid certificates attesting the knowledge of the Italian language necessary for enrollment at the University in Italy according to the quota that each university has for foreign students.CELI and CILS are divided into 6 levels on the model of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).).
Teachers will focus on every aspect of the exams, practicing with students' exams from previous years, making sure students are as prepared as possible. This course will be held on an individual basis and can also be taken online or via distance learning (see above).
