Centro Culturale Conero is a small institute for teaching and promoting the Italian language and culture to foreigners and has been running since 1997. The Italian school is well equipped, with bright and spacious classrooms and has a free fast wi-fi access for students, even from the garden. Our teachers have a wealth of experience in teaching Italian. We pride ourself on our friendly and homely atmosphere.

"The Italian language school is located a few hundred meters from the historic center of Camerano, a beautiful hill top town close to the Adriatic sea. There are a range of accommodation options nearby to suit your requirements and budget. We can help to organise accommodation in hotels, apartments, agriturismo or even with families so you can really practice your Italian skills! Ancona railway station and international airport are located a few kilometers away from the CCC. We can provide a collection service on request. Furthermore, the stunning beaches of the Conero Riviera are just 5 km away and easily accessible by public transport at any time of the day. NATIVE AND HIGHLY QUALIFIED TEACHERS

All teachers are native speakers, with a University background, qualified and experienced in teaching Italian to foreigners. All of them speak at least 2 foreign languages and they are always available for organizing extra-curricular and outdoor activities, to make free time as enjoyable as possible and to solve any problems the students might encounter during their stay in Camerano.

    Cristina
    She studied foreign languages and literatures at the Università degli studi di Macerata, and obtained her specialization in teaching Italian as a foreign language from the Università per Stranieri di Siena. She has been an Italian teacher for more than 20 years in several schools and has taught students of many ages and nationalities. She has also taught Italian to international companies for business, corporate, and academic purposes.

    Davide
    Davide (M.A. in Modern Italian Literature) has been teaching Italian for over 10 years. He has a wealth of knowledge about Italian literature and culture and has worked with various ages and levels of learners, ranging from beginner to advanced. He is also an illustrator, a poet, a singer and songwriter. He is in love with life, nature, philosophy, art, music and all the kaleidoscopic representations of the human universe. He speaks fluently English and some Spanish and Portuguese.
  • Giordano

    Giordano
    Giordano (M.A. in Modern Languages and comparative Literature) is an enthusiastic native Italian speaker/educator committed to educating adults and children on the fundamentals of the Italian language as well as an appreciation of the Italian culture. Insightful into student language difficulties with the flexibility to adapt or modify lessons to enhance student mastery of each skill. An available and approachable individual with whom students can cooperatively work to promote the mission of the school and meet their own needs. He loves biking, travelling, reading, and he plays the contrabass in various jazz bands. He speaks fluently English, French and some German.
  • Marco

    Marco
    M.A. in Modern Languages and comparative Literature, has taught Italian in class for about 25 years and has worked as online teacher for 15 years. He founded Centro Culturale Conero Italian language school in le Marche Region (Italy), where he is still working as a teacher. Marco works with students of all nationalities and levels, from beginner to advanced. He’s passionate about Italy, the Marche Region and its naturalistic and artistic treasures; he loves hiking, art, reading, travelling, swimming, cooking, good wines, good music, singing and strumming the guitar… Speaks fluently English, German and some French.
  • Raffaela

    Raffaela
    Studied Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures and Translation. She’s been a teacher of Italian for over 15 years.
    “I’m Raffaela, I spent my school years studying other people’s languages and now I am trying to teach those people my language! Is that revenge or passion? Passion of course: I’ve spent over 10 years teaching Italian to people from all around the world! What else? I like my country, its food, its traditions, its music… and all the people who love them!”

    Ursula
    She studied and graduated in Social Pedagogy at the "Katholischen Fachhochschule" in Mainz (Germany). Ursula is married to Marco, with whom she founded the school and is responsible for the administration of the CCC. As a good "German" she takes care of organizational aspects, student accommodation and financial aspects very well.
